If I Were a Ghost, I Would ________
By Michael Phillip Cash
If I were a ghost I’d cheat at gambling with a friend who is living. Before you judge me hear me out here. Picture this…you’re a down-on-your-luck gambler, hanging out in Las Vegas, waiting for your big break. If only you could win one of those awesome high stakes poker games. Just when you think your odds of winning it big are clearly a long shot, along comes world famous poker champion Clutch Henderson and he wants to make you his poker protégé. Sounds great, right? It would be the perfect partnership if Clutch wasn’t a ghost.
If you’re thinking this sounds like the plot of an amazing novel then you’d be correct. It just so happens to be the basis for my paranormal novel Pokergeist. Main character, Telly Martin, becomes poker pupil to Clutch and both student and master learn some very valuable lessons. It’s great. You should read it to find out what happens.
Pokergeist combines my love of poker with my fascination with dead people. I had a blast writing it and I’m sure you’ll have a blast reading it.
