10 Random Facts About Me!

Thought I might share some stuff about myself!

  1. I went to boarding school.
  2. I write with a fountain pen.
  3. I am allergic to most animals yet I have 2 dogs, a cat and a tortoise.
  4. This is the least amount of animals I have ever owned!!
  5. I have been 27 for years. People think that it is because 27 was my best year, it wasn’t as my Mum died when I was 27. The truth is no one believes I am as old as I am, I still get asked for ID, so why not say I a 27 if I can get away with it?!
  6. I am lactose intolerant but give me a cheesecake and I’ll eat the whole thing!
  7. My nickname, from I was 15, is Lazergun. I met a new friend at school from Hong Kong and her English was terrible. She thought my name was Leezer which turned to Lazer then she ended up on Lazergun and it stuck. It is even my gaming handle.
  8. I am a Christian. I was saved 28 years ago so I really can’t be 27, can I?
  9. I lived in Hong Kong when I was 19/20 with my friend who named me Lazergun.

  1. Love that nickname… it’s cool.. I never really had a nickname cause my name is simple and short already! πŸ˜€ And you lived in Hong Kong? What was that like? I can’t even imagine, must have been an experience!

Hmm… 10 facts about me. I’m mostly boring so some of those things most of the book bloggers already know these things about me:

    4. Every winter I like to knit woolly socks
    5. I do not believe in god (in any religion) but I do believe in something spiritual and aliens! πŸ˜€
    6. Every time I watch news I get angry

    • I think I knew alot of that lol I can’t watch the news, I refuse to let negativity be around me. Hong Kong was amazing, I would recommend everyone go at least once in their life. I am possibly going back next year for a bit but will have to leave my husband and daughter as it is during term time and her exams will be around the time I have to be there. It is something I need to think hard about. I should have written that I owned a boxing club, it is more interesting than I write with a fountain pen πŸ˜‚ never even thought about that until I saw your UFC lol

      • πŸ˜‰ You already know me, so πŸ™‚
Ah, it’s wonderful that you might be visiting HK again! It must be something awesome to look forward to it, although a long trip without family…
Ha, you owned a boxing club? How mega is that? Wow!

      • It really is far. Almost a day to get there as there are no direct flights from Ireland. Can’t imagine I’d stay more than 2 days then another flying home. I’ll have double jetlag πŸ˜€. The boxing club was awesome, I trained alot of the fighters. We had a training shesh with MMA fighter Ian Freeman and none of the girls would fight. I ended up fighting my husband and broke his ribs πŸ˜‚ he wasn’t a fighter though. I hated fighting with girls they used the club as a place to meet men and would wear full makeup ugh

      • Oh tell me about it… I have been wanting to visit those far away places but more than the jetlag, the idea of being stuck in an aerplane for so long drives bonkers! πŸ˜€ I don’t know how people manage πŸ˜€
Oh wow! πŸ˜€ You truly are full of surprises! πŸ˜€ hahaha, hope the hubby forgave you… that must have been painful.. but, love always is! lol
Ha, the girls… yeah… there’s that… when you see them show up in full make up, you know there’s quite possibly a different agenda other than being 100% dedicated to sport!

      • Oh he still brings it up but if that’s the worst abuse he has had during 15 yrs then don’t think he has come off too badly lol I can’t count the amount of girls I had to chase because the guys were genuine fighters. Some had been kickboxers and were seriously dedicated. All we did was train for events and/or bodybuilding contests. I learned a lot from owning that place and learned harder not to go into business with a mate!
I don’t like flying, I need to take a valium prior so I would likely eat the packet on each flight to HK 😁

    • I love my nickname it is so unique! My very daughter calls me by it lol HK rocks I advise everyone to go at least once in their life. I am meant to be going next yr for my mate’s wedding but can’t bring the kid cos she will be in the middle of exams. I can’t wait til she is older and I can take her to travel different areas of Asia

  2. This is a fabulous post of facts!! And hey I have NO idea how old I am. I either say I’m 21 or 24 and like…no Cait, you’re 23 would you keep it together. *cries because adulting is hard* And I’m allergic to most animals too! I have a low allergen dog though, but sometimes I don’t even know why.πŸ˜‚ CHEESECAKE IS LIFE.

    • So glad I am not alone on these things! I adore cheesecake I am the fatty that will sit down to a full one and not share, then again I am the only person in the house that eats it but it does make me ill, I never remember to take my lactase enzyme prior to taking it hahaha!
I know I am in my 30s and my bday is in exactly a week lol that is about it. Being an adult is horrid at times. I still say I want to go home when something upsets me and best of it is I generally say it in my own house but I am just reverting back to childhood!
